Please note: We are happy to provide free quotes for work you describe to us (e.g. brick patio, lawn installation, stone walls). We do charge for landscape design work (i.e. something we create specifically for your property). Basically, if you are interested in obtaining quotes for projects you have in mind, we are happy to quote at no charge. Our design fee is $50 per hour. If you would like a firm quote on the cost of the design, we will be happy to provide you with one once you have completed the questionnaire. The design fee is refundable on a prorated basis. For example, if we spend 6 hours creating a design, the cost will be (6 hrs x $50 / hour = $300). Assuming the installation of the design is quoted at $2500, if you choose to have Timp Landscaping install the full design, we will rebate you the entire $300. If you have us install half of the project ($1250), we will rebate half of the design cost to you (50% x $300 = $150). This hourly rate includes the time to photograph and measure the property in addition to the time to do the actual design work. A typical design will include the following: • A close-to-scale drawing of the home with the proposed plants and hardscape (e.g. flagstone walkway) • Plant specifications (e.g. bloom times, mature spread, fall color, etc) • Cost breakdowns for the individual plants and the installation • Photos of the plants in the design as well as access to additional plant photos at our web site www.timplandscaping.com (the photos are in the section Plants: Plant photo catalog).
